Jenny reclined back against the wall, her breathing soft. She just needed a couple minutes to catch her brain up with current events. So much had happened in such a short span of time (if you could call a month being a short span of time in retrospect). She knew She had to do something about Wally, but she was too flustered to properly think.

"You made a squeaky noise," Meta agreed. Sticks squealed. Jenny groaned.

"It's not like that." She tried to explain, but all her fluster left her unable to believe even herself. "It just caught me by surprise. That's all." Oh gosh. Was that how she sounded? She winced at her own denial.

"I'm nothing but science nerd and cat memes," she stressed, face flushed. "And you've known models and politicians daughters with well read portfolios and sparkling pedigrees!" She waved her arms like propellers, near hysterics.

Wally didn't even have the decency to be as harried by the situation as Jenny. He only shrugged his shoulders, as if the matters of his heart were as simple as deciding what groceries to buy or what to wear the next day.

In the spirit of being uber proud of my OC, and the fact that I obviously LOVE tea, I decided to do what all tea loving hipsters do and make a tea blend for my OC on Adagio Teas! Having tasted it myself, I must say, I mostly made this tea for me to order myself, but if you happen to enjoy it, too, then it's a WINWIN all around!

CATS ON ROOFTOPS

Cats on Rooftops presents to you the finest of Earl Grey Moonlight (fit to keep you up singing on that fence post), White Blueberry (to sweeten the deal) and Honeybush Hazelnut (to help you temper that sweetness), this blend is meant for the late night owls who enjoy curling up in front of the media screen and tinkering away at their work into the early morning. Recommended for college students and vigilantes.

So Lils and I got to talking and we decided we wanted to give you another kick-ass Super-Hero, and what better than a super-hero based upon Little Red Riding Hood! So we took a little of feminism, some color, and then we decided to flip gender expectations, so I proudly present our Latina super-hero…LONE-WOLF! Lone-Wolf is actually Alma Alfaro, a community college student in Steinbeck City, the daughter of a long line of werewolves. She works in her own constructed costume which she's constructed from clothes she's gotten from the Good Will and her own sewing work. She has fingerless gloves so she can let her slaws out, and her outfit is roomy so she can allow some muscle shifting with her Were transformation. She carries with her a baseball bat with nails in it, which is usually strapped to her back.

AND WITH HER IS HER (not really a sidekick and not really an adversary, more like that jerk who also stops crimes with you when you run into each other) FELLOW HERO, RED HOOD. Red Hood is actually Cameron (Cam) Patterson, who had originally wanted to go as the SCARLET-GHOST, but after so many pictures in the papers alongside Lone-Wolf, the general public of Steinbeck named him Red Hood (which isn't their fault, because he wears a red hood and is usually seen with a wolf super-hero). He uses archery, his years of gymnastics, and is fair haired and green eyed (literally) and basically looks like he was carved by an angel. So, yes, he's an asshole. He'll get better. Hopefully.

They actually go to the same community college, and know each other as THAT GIRL WHO IS ALWAYS SMILING AND CHEERY and THAT RUDE JERK WHO HAS A PISSY ATTITUDE.

…or maybe not. Who knows. Anwar DOES have a chance of winning over Hye-jin. It'll just take a while since she's…well…she's HYE-JIN. Gift from Lils.
